Our story
Built by people who moved here first.
Rootiva was founded in Montevideo by a small team of expats and locals who'd spent years quietly helping friends-of-friends get residency, find apartments, open bank accounts and survive their first Spanish-only doctor's appointment.
We turned that informal help into a real practice. Today we run end-to-end residency packages, Spanish programs for adults who actually want to use the language, and digital products for self-guided expats who like to do their own research.
